In plain English: what this site collects, why, and how to have it removed.
Who you are dealing with
This site is run by Jay Wolf Coaching ("I", "me", "we"), an individual coach based in London, United Kingdom. I decide how the information described here is used, which under UK data-protection law makes me the data controller.
For anything about your data, email me at jwccoaching@gmail.com.
What I collect
When you fill in the contact form I collect your name, your email address, any other contact you choose to add, the goals you tick, and whatever you write in the message.
If you accept analytics cookies, I also collect basic, non-identifying usage data about how the site is used. That is the only thing gathered automatically, and only after you accept.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about coaching. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before any contract, and my legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch.
I also keep your name and email on a contact list so I can stay in touch about coaching. You can ask me to stop or to remove you at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Analytics is used only to understand how the site performs, and only on the basis of the consent you give in the cookie banner.
Who else processes it
I use a few trusted services to run the site. Each only handles what it needs to, and each has its own privacy policy:
Resend — delivers the form emails and stores your name and email on my contact list. Google Analytics — measures site usage, and only loads once you accept cookies. Vercel — hosts the site and serves it to your browser.
Resend and Vercel process your data in the European Union (Ireland). Google Analytics may transfer anonymous usage data to the United States, under standard contractual clauses, and only runs after you accept cookies.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact and for up to two years afterwards, in case you come back.
Your name and email stay on the contact list until you ask to be removed. Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider’s standard settings.
Analytics and cookies
No analytics and no cookies load until you accept them in the banner. Decline is as easy as accept, and nothing is set if you decline.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) record how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the data I hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable form. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of these, email jwccoaching@gmail.com and I will respond within one month.
If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data-protection authority.
